Getting Started

How do I create an account?
Open Wroot, tap Sign Up, enter your mobile number, and verify with the OTP sent via SMS. You’re in.

My OTP didn’t arrive.
Double-check the mobile number (including country code).
Make sure your phone has SMS enabled and isn’t in airplane mode.
Wait 30 seconds, then tap Resend.

Still nothing?
Email support@wroot.in with your mobile number.

Can I change my phone number?
Yes. Go to Profile → Edit Profile → Phone Number. You’ll receive an OTP at the new number to confirm.

The Hair Assessment

How long does it take?
About 5 minutes. Your answers auto-save, so you can pause and pick up later from where you left off.

Can I retake the assessment?
Yes — retake it anytime. Your latest answers replace your previous Hair Health Score.

What is the Hair Health Score based on?
Your hair type, scalp condition, lifestyle, current routine, and specific concerns. Each factor contributes to a score that highlights where improvement will make the biggest difference.

My score feels wrong.
Retake the assessment and answer as honestly as possible — especially lifestyle questions (sleep, stress, diet). If your hair situation has recently changed, the score reflects the new reality.

Your Hair Plan

Where do recommendations come from?
Expert-backed hair care logic applied to your specific assessment. Products and routines are chosen to work together for your hair type, not as generic “top product” lists.

Can I swap products I already own?
Yes. The plan is a guideline — use what fits your life. The routine structure is what matters most.

How often should I follow the plan?
Consistency over intensity. Most routines are weekly (shampoo / scalp care) with daily supplements where recommended.

Photos & Progress

Why does Wroot ask for camera access?
To upload before-and-after photos for your treatment reviews. Photos stay tied to your account and aren’t shared with other users unless you choose to post a public review.

Where are my photos stored?
On secure servers tied to your account. You can delete any uploaded photo anytime from your profile.

Your Account & Data

How do I delete my account?
Email support@wroot.in from the email on your account, subject line “Delete my Wroot account“, with your registered mobile number. We’ll delete your account and associated data within 7 business days and send confirmation.

What data does Wroot collect?

  • Profile basics: name, phone, email
  • Assessment answers and Hair Health Score
  • Photos you upload
  • App usage (for improving features)
  • Crash reports (to fix bugs)

We do not sell your data, ever. Full details: Privacy Policy.

Can I download my data?
Yes. Email support@wroot.in and we’ll send you a copy of your account data within 7 business days.

Billing

Wroot is currently free. No in-app purchases, no subscriptions. If that ever changes, we’ll notify you in advance.
